About Us

Tooth Time Veterinary Dental Service works collboratively with primary care veterinarians  in Southwest Virginia and The Sandhills of NC to provide advanced dental care for patients.   After consulting with the primary care veterinarian,  the patient's procedure is scheduled at the primary care practice.  Tooth time Veterinary Dental Service travels to the primary care practice to perform the dental procedure needed while the patient's care and oversight are maintained by their primary care veterinarian.   We communicate with the client before and after the procedure to ensure complete understanding of the patient's treatment options and outcome of their procedure.  

Dr. Bartl has been practicing small animal veterinary medicine for 25 years.  She is a graduate of The Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicineis  and is board certfied by the Americal Board of Veterinary Practitioners in canine and feline practice.  She has practiced emergency medicine, primary care, and now focuses on small animal dentistry.  She served as an associate professor at the Virginia- Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine for 10 years teaching primary  care, emergency medicine, and detistry.  She has recently completed adanced training in dentistry procedures through a residency in dentistry and oral surgery.
